Music in the Marche
Dr. Hays serves as the Artistic Director for Music in the Marche. This young artist program has jump-started the musical careers of hundreds of young artists. Located in beautiful Mondavio, Italy, aspiring young artists receive in depth musical guidance, explore Italian culture through music and excursions, perform in master class, take part in daily Italian language classes, and experience cultural immersion. Students are housed in pairs within the small village community of Mondavio in the homes of vetted host families.

Music Performance
Dr. Hays is an Associate Professor in the all new Music Performance program at Texas A&M University. This degree offers a comprehensive grounding in music, while emphasizing the intersections of music with other art forms such as dance, theatre, game design and the visual arts. Through the blending of tradition with front-line innovation, students will develop new, creative ways of thinking about performance; innovative ways of integrating music performance in social engagements; creative concepts of music performance and technology; and flexible interdisciplinary skills.
